I'm back to running! After a long break from the roads and trails, I'm back to running and hopefully as strong as I was before the injury.
Dave and I both ran in the Derby Day 5K at Santa Anita in April! Since Dave ran the race too, I really don't have many photos. I had not ran a race in about 6 months, but I managed to placed 9th in my age group out of 120! Not bad, eh! Afterwards Dave enjoyed a few hours at the track while I shopped in Pasadena. Then we both headed to the Westin in downtown LA where we enjoyed a nice dinner and a bottle of wine. It was truly a relaxing and wonderful evening.
