The Schqnker's spent Dec 21-25 in Salt Lake City for a couple of days of skiing. We skied Friday at the canyons in Park City and Sunday at Alta. Skiing at Alta was amazing...the powder was great and there were no snowboarders! A skiers dream come true! Saturday we spent hanging out in Park City. We toured the Olympic training center (again for Michele) then had lunch at an local Pub. Later that night we walked to Temple Sqaure to see the christmas light display and enjoyed dinner at Biaggi's at the Gateway. After skiing at Alta we watched the torchllight parade down the mountain (skiers caryying flares). It was really neat to see that. Although I wonder what it is like to ski in the dark!!! Monday we woke up, had breakfast at our hotel, opened one present, and then drove to Great Salt Lake. We arived back in LA at about 2:30 pm and came home to have our own christmas celebration.
