Florida trip to visit Dave's Family : The weekend of Sept 8th was spent traveling back to Florida to visit Dave's family. We had not made this journey back together for over a year. Florida was humid and hot, bu it was good to see family and friends again that we don't see very often anymore. Photos in this album are of Dave's mom's horses and our wine tasting evening while playing board games. We did see our friends at a happy hour event, but I did not bring my camera.

Fort Worth, TX : In May a group of us from Lockheed took a weekend Trip to Fort Worth, TX. We went to the stockyards, enjoyed the places of downtown Ft Worth, and attended a baseball game at Ameriquest field.

Salt Lake City : I had to travel to SLC for work a few times. Here are some pictures I took of the city and surronding areas.

More SLC : In November I was back in SLC for work. Since my flight back to CA wasn't until late on Friday I was able to do some skiing at Brighton. During my trip I was also able to see Park City.

Wright Patterson Museum : While in Dayton, OH for the marathon relay we visited the museum on base. It was a really cool place, but kind of dark and hard to photograph. These are pictures I took at the AF museum.

Salt Lake Ski Trip : The Schqnker's spent Dec 21-25 in Salt Lake City for a couple of days of skiing. We skied Friday at the canyons in Park City and Sunday at Alta. Skiing at Alta was amazing...the powder was great and there were no snowboarders! A skiers dream come true! Saturday we spent hanging out in Park City. We toured the Olympic training center (again for Michele) then had lunch at an local Pub. Later that night we walked to Temple Sqaure to see the christmas light display and enjoyed dinner at Biaggi's at the Gateway. After skiing at Alta we watched the torchllight parade down the mountain (skiers caryying flares). It was really neat to see that. Although I wonder what it is like to ski in the dark!!! Monday we woke up, had breakfast at our hotel, opened one present, and then drove to Great Salt Lake. We arived back in LA at about 2:30 pm and came home to have our own christmas celebration.

Las Vegas for New Years : For New Years Dave and I met our frineds Brenda and Mark in Vegas. Dave and I had a little excitiment on the way out when a crazy driver cuased many accidents on the 15 and blew out his tire. Then went into a 1.5 hour standoff with the police. They finaly tear gassed him and got him out of the car so they could reopen the highway. There are a few photos of adventure along the side of the road.
